On wednesday march 2nd, at the Estadio Panamericano de San Cristóbal in the Dominican Republic
from 6:00 PM, the Haitian U20 women's team will challenge that of Jamaica as part of its 3rd
outing in the preliminary round of the Women's Championship of Concacaf.
Undefeated in the competition after two games played for a victory of two goals to
one (2-1) against Cuba and a one-to-one (1-1) draw against Guatemala, three (3) goals scored
and two (2) conceded for a difference of plus one (+1), the Grenadières will face the
Jamaicans with the aim of taking first place.
With four (4) points, the players of the coach, Fiorda Charles, currently lead Group B ahead
of Guatemala and Jamaica. On the other hand, Haiti will have to play this match without three
(3) of its holders, but will be able to rely on the top scorer of the tournament, Rose Alya
Marcelus.
This meeting is considered to be the most important for the Haitian training defending
champion of this competition.
