Several Haitian writers participated in the 33rd edition of the “Étonnants Voyageurs”
international book and film festival, which was held from May 27 to 29, 2023 in Saint-Malo,
France.
During this great cultural event, authors from all horizons including Haitian writers such as
Lyonel Trouillot, Rodney Saint Éloi and the Haitian-Canadian academician Dany Laferrière met
to discuss and reflect on the world around literary and cinematographic works.
On the menu of the great international festival, there were meetings, literary cafés, major
interviews, debates, readings and film screenings.
