“Wakanda” will be in Puerto Rico. The production of the film “Black Panther 2″ has selected
the island for the filming of part of the sequel to the blockbuster from Marvel Studios.
According to US media and local sources, production of the film “Black Panther Wakanda
Forever“, which had been delayed due to restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic,
is expected to shoot some of the remaining scenes on the island in mid -March.
As is often the case for these Hollywood shoots, discretion and conditions of confidentiality
are required to be able to film. Nevertheless, this media has learned that part of the
production team has begun to arrive in Puerto Rico.
Emagine Films Studios announced on their Facebook account yesterday that they will be
holding auditions on the island for filming, which the company said was scheduled to take
place March 13-18. The auditions are for children ages 7-13 who bear a resemblance to Haitians
and black adults ages 18-70.
