The jury of the "RFI - AUF Young Writing Prize" rewarded Pierrie-Ahn Fenelon, a student
at the University of Notre Dame in Haiti, for her short story entitled Renaissance.
This award is intended to encourage the writing of short French-speaking stories.
It is aimed at French-speaking students from around the world, aged 18 to 29 and enrolled
in one of the 1,007 AUF member institutions around the world.
The participants of this third edition had to compose a fiction, in French language,
of 8000 characters maximum and which had to start with the sentence "Me, I am different."

This third edition was once again a great success thanks to the large promotional
campaign carried out on RFI's airwaves and that carried out by the AUF among students
from its 1,007 member universities and higher education establishments in 119 countries.
